DELIVERY POLICY 

For your convenience, we deliver your order via Australia Post or Sendle anywhere within Australia via regular or express post. We also post internationally via Australia Post. 

If you wish to pick up from The Girl Guides Store in Docklands, we will hold your items free of charge for up to five working days. 

Upon completion of your purchase, our team will organise for your order to be dispatched as a priority, usually the next working day after it has been received online.  

 You will receive an email when your goods have been shipped with the tracking number you'll need to track your order. Don't worry if you're not home when the product/s are delivered. Australia Post will leave a card at your home advising you that an attempt has been made to deliver your product. Your order will then be available to be collected at your local post office. You will find information about the post office location on the card left by the courier. 

If you order is sent by Sendle and the driver attempted delivery but no one was home, or it wasn’t safe to leave the parcel unattended (or it wasn't safe for the driver to access), here's what will happen:

  1. The driver will leave a card and scan the parcel if it’s available for redelivery. We will usually attempt delivery twice.
  2. The receiver will get an email notification (if their email address was used for the original order).
  3. The receiver will follow the instructions and book a redelivery.
  4. If it’s not booked for redelivery within five days, the parcel will be returned to Girl Guides Victoria

The Girl Guides Store is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. In the unlikely event that an ordered item isn't available, or we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange a full refund, or place your order on a wait list if the product is likely to be restocked soon. 

 After we have handed your parcel over to Australia Post, it is subject to their General Terms & Conditions, available here: General Terms & Conditions - Australia Post (auspost.com.au) 

 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you or to any other person for any loss or damage that may be suffered, as a result of any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, by or on behalf of Australia Post in relation to the loss or damage to any parcel, including, but not limited to: 

  1. where it is left at the delivery address in any location as requested pursuant to this Service;
  2. where it is left at a delivery address in a manner that is inconsistent with the delivery instructions specified in the request for the Service; or
  3. where it is not left at the delivery address and requires collection from a Post Office.

 

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER 

Once your order is placed, if you would like to change your order please contact us email within 24hrs of placing the order. If the order has not yet been dispatched we will assist you to change or cancel the order. If the order has already been dispatched, please follow the refund policy.  

 

REFUND POLICY 

Please choose carefully. We do not refund for 'change of mind' purchases. You can choose to refund or exchange goods which are faulty or wrongly described. We also offer to exchange items of clothing if a different size is required. 

 No refund is available for postage.  

 Any claims for an exchange must be made within 30 days. 

Your request must be accompanied by proof of purchase and items must be returned in their original condition. Be sure to always include an explanation with returned goods, pack carefully, and send to:
