The Duke of Edinburgh award badge is a specialist badge, on the back of your sash, and is earned through the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme outside Guiding.
Youth members may wear the highest level of the award they have achieved (bronze, silver or gold). Adult members may only wear the Gold award if they have achieved it at sometime in their past. Adult members may not wear the bronze or silver levels.
